The sandy beach of Renesse is about 17 km long and is located beside the forest of Westerschouwen. Furthermore, the province of Zeeland has the most sun hours in the Netherlands during the summer. The beaches of have won already several major awards. In 2024 the beach received the international 'Blue Flag' environmental award for the 26th time. It guarantees high quality of bathing water and a well kept clean beach. In 2017 received again the ‘Quality Coast Award’ for its high quality of human and nature-friendly tourism.

Jan van Renesseweg
This is the main beach of Renesse located directly on Jan van Renesseweg. This beach is highly popular and has a lively atmosphere, especially during the summer. It is considered one of the finest beaches in Renesse.
