Vroongronden - Nature

The Vroongronden lie on the eastern side of the Kop van Schouwen, between Burgh-Haamstede and Renesse. The open grassland has a rich history and today it is a valuable nature reserve.

- Peaceful experience: The Vroongronden are an oasis of silence and space, where you can experience nature while walking or cycling.
- Unique nature: The Vroongronden are part of the Natura 2000 area Kop van Schouwen, rich in rare flora and fauna.

Practical information
- Cycling and walking: The area is easy to explore via the cycle path that connects Burgh-Haamstede and Renesse.
- Parking: At the car park Gadra Bos along the Vroonweg there is an entrance to the area. From here you can discover the Vroongronden on foot or by bike.
